Haven't posted a piece in a few months, and finally go around to finishing this one. The model took a lot longer than I expected, but I'm mostly happy with the outcome. Hope you enjoy. =}

Still need to make some minor tweaks to composite.

Software used: 3ds Max (modeling/lighting/rendering), Photoshop (textures/compositing).

Credit to [link] for inspiring the idea for this mecha.

Bigger? Perhaps someday, but for now this is the final render. If I were to re-render it I'd have to do the compositing/post-work over again. I'm glad you like it though. =}

Ah. Yes when I get around to creating the next one I'll probably render in even higher res, in-case people want big posters. I'm not sure exactly when I'll get around to it though; due to having multiple projects keeping me busy. Perhaps next spring/early summer.
