Archon Lucien as a younger angel, treading the line between righteousness & corruption.

A character/scene I've been working on this past month. The character is inspired & based off of the angel Archon Lucien from Darksiders 2.

Modeled in 3ds Max, rendered with Octane, color-grading/post-work in Photoshop. Didn't get around to full texturing this time (again), and there are some unfinished areas that I may finish & update.

Very nice...bueno ¿puedo decirlo en español? ¿puedes entenederlo? Bueno...olvidando el tema de lenguajes, me gusta mucho esta escena, los colores me encantan,también me dan mucha curiosidad las sobras de ñas alas y del rostro.
Siempre me han gustado las imagenes as, honestamente, el color del fondo y tambin del alto personaje con alas, adems de la sombras, me sorprende el tamaño y el color que le das a la vestimenta y a la estructura del fono n.n Me encata, s en serio, 1000% honesto, me fascina esta epica, magica y bella imagen que subiste mi amigo, te quedo genial! ;)
P.D: ¿Tienes ms imgenes parecidas? jajaja n.n

Now that I'm learning 3ds Max, my appreciation for 3d work has expanded. Not only do I think this unfinished piece is great, it inspires the shit out of me. I can't wait to get home and practice practice practice!

Because I enjoy Octane's real-time interface & shaders, it provides relatively fast unbiased rendering using the GPU, and produces physically accurate results with ease. Not to mention it cost $50 when I originally bought it.

As for the noise.. that would be a byproduct of statistical variance, due to using an unbiased render kernel (PMC in this case). I could choose to let the render sit for another day or two to gather more samples, reducing the noise, but it doesn't bother me much. People complaining about it is secondary to me. (This part isn't directed specifically at you.. it's just for reference)
